Common questions
The alarm didn't ring — what happened?
Make sure you've granted Calendar access and Notification permissions to Meeting Alarms in iOS Settings. If you're using an iPhone without AlarmKit support, the app falls back to standard notifications — these can be silenced by Focus or Silent mode. AlarmKit alarms require a physical device running iOS 26.
Can I set different lead times per meeting?
Yes. Tap a meeting to open its detail view, then adjust the pre-meeting alert time for that specific occurrence. The global default lives in Settings.
How do I arm an entire recurring series at once?
Tap the bell icon on any occurrence of a recurring meeting. A sheet will appear asking whether you want to alarm just this occurrence or the whole series. Choose All future occurrences.
Why doesn't a Join button appear for my meeting?
The Join button appears when Meeting Alarms detects a supported video-conference URL (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Whereby, GoTo Meeting) in the event's URL, location, or notes field. If the link is missing from your calendar event, the button won't show. You can add the URL by editing the event in your calendar app.
Does Meeting Alarms send my calendar data anywhere?
No. Everything is processed on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete all my alarms?
In the meeting list, tap the bell icon on each armed meeting to disarm it. Deleting and reinstalling the app will also clear all alarm records from the local database.
